COMPANY PROFILE : Since the company's foundation, Outil Pac's workforce has tripled. When OUTIL PAC Inc. was created in July 1990, the company's two founding shareholders, Réjean Blouin (President) and Robert Lafrenière (V.P.) were already well-known in the industrial distribution world, and this certainly worked to their advantage. Through building and nurturing close working relationships with suppliers and clients, Outil Pac's founders have seen the company climb to the top spot among industrial distributors in Quebec and Canada for the following brands : CADDY , DORMER, GREENLEE, HAKANSSON, KLINGSPOR, JET, MAKITA, METABO, MILWAUKEE, MORSE, NITTO KOHKI, POWERS RAWL, TRANSAIR, WALTER and many others (Click on the "PRODUCTS" section). Recently (July 2001), OUTIL PAC joined the Canadian Independent Distributor Network ( IDI ) which has given the company access to numerous extra product lines with no increase in inventory. Outil Pac is reaping the benefits of investing in staff training. OUTIL PAC was among the first industrial distributors to implement an ISO 9002 :94 quality system back in June 1997. The company was recertified in November 2000 and anticipates achieving its ISO 9000 :2000 upgrade in December 2003. By investing in a quality program, the company truly is backing the technical expertise of its workforce and the quality of its service. Outil Pac is in constant evolution. Its team based in St-Laurent has grown from six (6) to thirty-five (35) employees and further divisions have been created in Quebec City (1996) and in the Estrie region (1999). The Outil Pac group currently has fifty-one (51) employees. These companies are managed by co-owners in touch with their respective clients as needs vary from one region to another.
